Luke Donald ensured his season will close on a high with a five-shot victory at the Dunlop Phoenix in Japan.
Donald, who is set to return to world No. 2 with the triumph, finished on 16-under par at Phoenix Country Club on Sunday - comfortably ahead of his nearest challenger, local favourite Hideki Matsuyama.
Koumei Oda was third thanks to a closing round of 64, with Alvaro Quiros in sixth and Donald's Ryder Cup team-mate Nicolas Colsaerts 22nd following a closing round 71.
But Sunday was all about Donald, who never looked like relinquishing his four-shot overnight advantage - picking up birdies at the fourth and eighth and an eagle at the seventh to move well clear of the field.
Dropped shots at nine and 10 raised the slim prospect of a back nine collapse, but that did not materialise as a birdie at the 18th clinched his triumph.
Meanwhile at the Hong Kong Open, Spaniard Miguel Angel Jimenez became the oldest ever European Tour winner with a one-shot victory.
Jimenez reached 15-under par to edge out Sweden's Fredrik Andersson Hed, the event for a third time at the age of 48 years and 318 days.
Michael Campbell, the overnight leader, carded a final round of 72 to slip down to eighth.
Later in the day, Henrik Stenson returned to winning ways with a three-shot victory in the SA Open.
Stenson edged out George Coetzee, who held the advantage for much of the day but ultimately fell away. Germany's Martin Kaymer was third, with Thomas Aiken and Charl Schwartzel also both in close attention.
