All of us know that when we speak of ethics we?re talking about one?s sense of right and wrong. Business ethics involves learning right and wrong in the context of one?s business dealings in the workplace. The ultimate goal of observing business ethics is developing preferred behaviors in the company. These behaviors result to just and fair actions from the leadership to the employees. Having a moral compass and holding on to a set of values are crucial to one?s business most especially in times of crisis. It is the manager?s main responsibility to make sure that business ethics is observed in their workplace. Here are some practical ways to do that.

Give a set of rules to follow in your company. People need to see in black and white the things they should do and should not do. This also sets the tone on what your company values above all else. When your employees have a reference regarding ethical responsibilities and behavior, they will be guided accordingly in their daily business dealings.
