Atticus is living with one of our volunteers until he finds his forever home. His foster mom says that he really enjoys playing with the other dogs in the household and loves going for car rides. Atticus has had many trips to the park and really loves the great outdoors. He is a high energy dog which is expected for a Border Colllie, They are herding dogs and working dogs by nature. They need structure and stimulation to keep their minds busy. An active family with another dog would be perfect for Atticus. A fenced yard would be a good fit for him also. If you have previous experience with this breed, you know just how intellegent they are. Sometimes that intelligence gets them in to trouble. If you aren't familiar with the breed, we suggest you do a little research to see if Atticus is right for your family.
